In the early hours of the morning, pro-Palestinian activists broke into the highly secure Instro Precision factory at Sandwich Discovery Park in Kent. Using hammers and crowbars, the demonstrators cut through security fences, smashed windows, and dismantled machinery. The incident occurred at around 3am on Monday morning when the protesters, clad in red protective suits, breached the factory’s defenses and began systematically destroying equipment. Kent Police were called to the scene, and seven individuals were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.
Palestine Action, the group behind the break-in, describes itself as a direct action network targeting businesses and organizations linked to Israel, including Elbit Systems. The group’s spokesperson stated that the factory produces military-grade equipment likely used in ground operations in Gaza, contributing to the violence against Palestinian civilians.
