There is no disability justice without a Free Palestine

Palestinian child Mustafa Nasr, 11 years old, is being cared for by his family in the Al-Nazla area in Jabalia in Gaza City, February 2025. His legs were amputated in an Israeli airstrike that targeted his family's home during the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip. A group of his family members were also martyred. (Photo by Omar Ashtawy/apaimages)I am a disabled, anti-Zionist Jew, and I believe we will see a free Palestine. But I also believe this: anyone claiming to do the work of disability rights or justice while remaining silent on Gaza is actually doing no such thing.

  • The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.

  • When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get several e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Thanks!
