Heartfelt Tribute to Hind: A Mural of Remembrance and Awareness
Art By emmaleneblake
We are deeply moved by the powerful mural painted at Dalymount Park, Dublin, by the talented Emmalene Blake. This beautiful yet heart-wrenching piece is dedicated to Hind, a young girl whose tragic story has left an indelible mark on all who hear it.
Emmalene’s artwork captures the anguish and fear in Hind’s voice, which was recorded during her final moments. These recordings serve as a haunting reminder of the horrors endured and a call to action for us all. Hind’s terrified little voice should haunt us forever, compelling us to strive for a world where such tragedies cease to exist.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Emmalene Blake for her incredible work and to Moira Fowley, who painted Hind’s hair, and Amanda O’Rourke for the background color. Their collective effort has created a poignant tribute that not only honors Hind’s memory but also raises vital awareness about the ongoing struggles faced by so many.
Sending love and support to Hind’s mother and all who loved her. We cannot begin to imagine their pain, but we stand in solidarity with them and echo the call for an end to such suffering.
