Support Urgent Relief Efforts in Gaza – Your Help is Needed Now

📢 #BREAKING: South Africa’s Genocide Case Against Israel Gains Ground

On 10 May 2024, South Africa submitted an urgent request to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in its ongoing case concerning The Application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide in the Gaza Strip (South Africa v. Israel). Today, 24 May, the ICJ granted several additional provisional measures in favor of South Africa:

  1. An immediate ceasefire in Rafah.
  2. Israel is ordered to immediately take all effective measures to ensure and facilitate the unimpeded access of aid into Gaza and to open the Rafah border without delay.
  3. Israel is ordered to allow fact-finding missions and independent journalists and investigators into Gaza to enable the effective preservation and retention of evidence.
  4. Israel is to submit an open report to the court within a week detailing all measures taken to comply with the provisional measures ordered today.

These interim measures mark a significant victory for South Africa in its ongoing genocide case against Israel.
