Professor Qumsiyeh’s Lecture on The Theology of Palestine
As we note the anniversary of the Nakba, don’t miss Professor Qumsiyeh’s FREE lecture on Palestine and Decolonization next week.
Professor Qumsiyeh taught in America for 30 years, including Yale University.
In 2008 he returned to Palestine to found the Palestine Institute of Biodiversity & Sustainability (PIBS). He has written 160 scientific articles and authored four books, among them ‘Popular Resistance in Palestine: A History of Hope and Empowerment.
Professor Qumsiyeh has spoken in 45 countries and was invited to speak in Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s church in South Africa.
His lecture on 21st May will address the impacts of occupation on people and nature, decolonization, and the role each of us can play as global citizens.
