Update – GQ Community, we are thrilled to announce that we will be having a second screening of the documentary “Ahmad Alive”

As tickets are pre-sold at R100, please contact us get yours soonest since the first batch sold out within hours. We are grateful for the overwhelming interest and support of this wonderful event and experience.

We are even more excited to announce that Ahmad himself, will be joining us at the premier. We will have a “meet and greet” session from 15H00 and would like everyone seated prior to the start at 16H00 sharp.

The second screening will start at 17H45. We ask that attendees are punctual.

Please note that all proceeds will go to Seen Palestine(Ahmad will provide us with information in this regard).

Rave, new Gaza documentary from seen.tv to screen in Gqeberha

Seen.tv is thrilled to announce a screening of ‘Ahmad Alive’, this time in Gqeberha! The tremendous success of the film’s premiere screenings in Cape Town, Durban and Jo’burg last month, prompted seen.tv to host additional screenings. The Gqeberha screening is on 26 May at 4pm and 5.45pm, at the Boardwalk Mall cinemas.

“Ahmad Alive” is the harrowing story of Gazan travel vlogger, Ahmad Ghunaim.

Ahmad never aspired to be a war correspondent, but after October 7th, with foreign journalists banned from Gaza, he needed to show the world what was happening.

With just his phone, Ahmad captured Israel’s vicious war on Gaza. We follow him as his house is bombed and he becomes a refugee overnight. Fearing for his life, Ahmad is forced to live on the streets, sleeping in hospitals, cars, and tents. Continue reading below, credit : Shanaaz Nordien.
